Olivia Symes:

I started my two girls who are 7 and 10 playing the guitar. They have never played an instrument and Joe has been awesome. He is so patient and encouraging. I definitely recommend him!

Joe is an ACE when it comes to guitar lessons. Our son has been taking lessons with Joe for many years and his level of encouragement and expectation is great. He also has a RockShop program that has allowed our son to be part of a rock band experience by playing electric guitar. Our son loves his lessons and time with Joe!

Joe is a wealth of knowledge. My son has been taking voice lessons from him for 2 years now, and he has been navigating through the normal voice changes that a young teenage boy has. In my opinion, Joe is a great teacher - he's always working on helping me develop the skills I need to take my playing and singing to the next level, and he does it in a way that is both interesting and fun. Working with Joe (and practicing the different exercises that he's taught me) has been tremendously helpful and rewarding - I highly recommend him!

I love Joe! I'm so glad I found him. I have good intentions, but I do not practice AT ALL. Yet, after just a few months of spending one hour a week with Joe I'm seeing progress. It's really encouraging. I take voice lessons and guitar in a blended one hour session. I LOVE it and would recommend to anyone who wants to learn. I particularly love that he doesn't dumb it down. Even though I'm a novice who doesn't practice, he infuses theory into every one of our sessions.
